These terms govern your use of Canberra Auto Link, operated by TYU GROUP PTY LTD (ACN 699 994 904). By using the site you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.
What Canberra Auto Link is
Canberra Auto Link is a local information and introduction service that connects Canberra buyers, sellers and car-service businesses. We are not a car dealer, we are not a party to any sale or service agreement, and we do not act as agent for any buyer or seller. Any transaction is strictly between you and the other party.
Eligibility and accounts
You must be at least 18 years old and provide accurate information. If you create an account, keep your login secure — you are responsible for activity under your account.
Listings and content
Sellers are solely responsible for the accuracy, legality and completeness of their listings, and must have the right to sell the vehicle. Listings are reviewed before going live, but review is not a guarantee. We may edit, decline or remove any listing or content at our discretion.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Post false, misleading, fraudulent or unlawful content.
- List a vehicle you don't own or aren't authorised to sell.
- Harass other users, or misuse contact details for spam or unrelated marketing.
- Scrape, copy or disrupt the site or attempt to bypass its security.
Do your own checks
We don't verify or guarantee any listing, seller, buyer or third-party business. Before you buy, sell or book a service, do your own due diligence — inspect the vehicle, arrange a professional inspection, check the PPSR for encumbrances, and confirm registration and roadworthiness. You rely on listings and other users at your own risk.
Fees
Using the site to buy, sell or enquire is currently free for individuals. Paid plans for businesses are offered separately and described where they apply.
Intellectual property
The site, brand and its content (other than user-submitted content) belong to us or our licensors and may not be copied or reused without permission.
Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss arising from your use of the site, from any listing, or from dealings with other users or third-party businesses. Nothing in these terms excludes rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot be excluded.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Australian Capital Territory, Australia.
